Final Modern Design
For my final design i used my previous two designs and improved adding more contemporary shapes such as a bow.
The front of the hair is extremely padded making it very high and large. Only the front of the hair is crimped and this is because I wanted to show a clear contrast between Elizabethan hairstyles and also modern hairstyles. This is shown through the large Elizabethan padding in the front with a contrast to the back with a bow shaped hair style.
Step by step -
Step 1 - Crimp the front section of the hair and tease it.
Step 2- Section three pieces of hair and create a french plait where the padding will sit.
Step 3 - apply the padding tightly onto the plait
Step 4 - bring over the padded section and pin it to the back of the head.
step 5- The hair that is left on the side needs to be tied up tightly leaving a thing strand of hair at the bottom.
step 6- create a box shape with the hair that is tied up
step 7- tight curl the strands of hair that is not in a hair the
Tazmin teasing my hair to create a massive quiff in the middle of my head. |
